Why a medium mattress?
If you share a bed and cannot quite agree with your partner on soft or firm, this could well be the best solution. Sleeping position
If you are a side or front sleeper, then a medium feel mattress gives great all-round comfort for these positions, gently cradling your body while still providing pressure relief where you need it.
Sleeper frame size and body weight
If you consider yourself to be average sized, you will most likely experience quality sleep for longer on a medium mattress than a soft or firm one. There is no hard and fast industry guidance. If a person weighs 10-15 stone, then it is most probably that a medium feel mattress will provide better comfort and support. This does not mean to say people with either a larger or smaller frame cannot sleep well in a medium comfort bed either.
