How does it work?

  • Order online from TEMPUR UK and receive FREE home delivery and installation on all mattress, bed and headboard purchases.*
  • Small items such as pillows, accessories, and bedding and linens will be sent via courier.
  • Charges will apply if you live off-shore**, please refer to the 'Delivery to Off Shore UK' section further down this page.
  • This offer applies to purchases made from the TEMPUR UK website until further notice.
  • 100 night trial applies to selected mattresses and toppers, subject to Terms and Conditions.
  • 30 night trial applies to selected full-sized pillows, subject to Terms and Conditions.
  • Home Trials also apply to selected online Outlet Refurbished Products subject to separate Terms and Conditions.

*Our Home Delivery Service operates in pre-designated areas during Monday-Friday. Deliveries are generally made between 9am-4pm. This service is currently FREE, subject to you accepting your order on the designated day when our vehicles are in your area. Should you require a specific date or different time frame to the one offered, please refer to the section on Delivery Charges further down this page.

**Off-shore UK locations include the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and all other UK destinations where access is restricted by tides/water or other natural or man-made barriers.

Product Availability and Shipping Times

We do our best to make sure we have stock available for you to buy at all times. Should we experience an unexpected demand for a product and find we cannot meet your order, a member of our Customer Services team will contact you by email or phone and advise a revised delivery date.

When items are available from stock, anticipated delivery times are as follows:

Smaller Products (Pillows, Accessories and Bedding & Linens)

Currently we endeavour to deliver in stock items within 3-10 working days to Mainland UK addresses, remote addresses may take longer.

If a product is out of stock or lead-times have been temporarily extended, an estimated delivery time in days/weeks will be shown against the specific item affected. Order now to reserve your item. We will send it out to you as soon as it becomes available.

Larger Products (Mattresses, Bed Bases and Headboards)

Currently via the TEMPUR® Home Delivery Service: 14-28 days* for standard UK sized mattresses, 6-14 weeks for made-to-order bed bases and headboards depending on the model selected.

*If we are experiencing a high demand or extended shipping times on some of our mattress ranges, the estimated delivery dates will be shown in weeks against the listings of the standard sizes on both the size filtering pages and the individual product pages. Here you will see the date change as you configure your item of choice.

Some special size or made-to-order items such as small double, long small double, long double and euro king and emperor size mattresses, plus all bed bases and headboards can take longer. Again a member of the Customer Services team will to advise you.

Bringing your order to you

At TEMPUR UK our Logistics Team endeavour to make sure our vehicles run efficiently to keep carbon emissions down, so we are not in every area every day. But please be assured, we want to deliver your bed to you as soon as we can.

What to do before we arrive with your new bed

For mattresses and/or bed base deliveries where access into your property is restricted, please note the following: it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all products can be manoeuvred safely through the property to the final place of installation. We kindly ask that any objects or furniture which could be accidentally damaged en route are removed, and stored safely away prior to the delivery team’s arrival.

What to expect on the day when the delivery team arrive...

While bed bases are in the main delivered in sections, in some cases the delivery team may still need to briefly flex or curve your mattress inwards* on the sleeping side to install it into your room of choice. This will not affect its performance. If, in the future, the mattress needs to be moved or relocated, please ensure it is not flexed or curved on the non-sleeping side as this could cause irreparable damage. We regret we cannot be held responsible for mishandling.

*In the case of all TEMPUR® Hybrid mattresses when moving any of these models, please do not flex, curve or fold the mattress on the sleeping side more than 90 degrees from the side edge as this may permanently distort the internal springing system.

What if your plans change suddenly and you cannot take delivery on the day originally agreed?

We understand things happen, but as soon as you are aware your plans to take delivery of your order have changed, please let us know immediately. If not, you may incur a failed delivery charge and rearrangement fee of £60. If, due to your location, your order is coming via one of our trusted carrier partners, it is vital to let them know too. Their contact details can be found on the emails they will have sent you directly when they confirmed the original arrangements. Whatever happens we want you to enjoy the benefits of TEMPUR® as soon as possible.

Deliveries to Mainland UK

Currently we deliver to you for FREE.

Smaller Products - you save:

£9 per small product (£1.50 per any additional small product/s thereafter)

Larger Products - you save:

£60 per mattress, bed base or headboard (plus any small products on the same order)


Specific Delivery Requests

If you are ordering a large item and choose not to accept the pre-designated free service, it may be possible to request delivery on a specific date and/or time. Please be advised, however, such requests must be paid for by you.

If we are able to assist you, the price for this service will be dependent on your needs and location. Once you accept our quotation for your specific delivery request, all additional charges must be paid in full via BACS bank transfer before we confirm the new arrangements. Please note if you have elected to pay for your order via interest free credit, additional transport costs cannot be added to your loan agreement.


Things Beyond Our Control

The TEMPUR® Logistics Team take great pride in delivering your order to you, but sometimes other factors affect our service.

TEMPUR UK cannot be held responsible for losses incurred by cancellations or delays due to mechanical breakdown, adverse traffic conditions, or extreme weather. Be assured we will get to you as soon as it is safe to do so.


Delivery to Off-Shore UK

These destinations include but are not limited to: Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands*, and all other UK destinations where access is restricted/prevented by tides/ water or other natural or man-made barriers.

Smaller Products

The following services and charges will apply. Transit times listed below are approximately how long your order should take to be received once it has been picked, packed and dispatched from our warehouse in addition to our standard quoted shipping time for in stock products. This is currently 5-10 days:

  • Northern Ireland +2-3 working days - £6.00
  • Isle of Wight +1-2 working days - £8.00
  • Scottish Islands +2-5 working days - £10.00
  • Scilly Isles +2-5 working days - £10.00
  • Isle of Man +1-2 working days - £15.00
  • * Channel Islands - please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

Larger Products

These include mattresses, bed bases, and headboards. We can only deliver larger items to a nominated UK Mainland address of your choice. Arrangements for the onward transportation to your off-shore address is entirely your responsibility as the purchaser. We cannot assume any liability for damage or delays by your third party shippers. Likewise the freight cost of any unwanted items or returns must also be borne by you.
