options, as well as our standard sizes, to ensure you can find your
ideal
match.
Here are a few of our non-standard bed mattress size options:
- Long single (90x200cm) and long double (135x200cm). Ideal for taller individuals, providing extra space for your needs.
- Small double (120x190cm) and long small double (120x200cm). Designed for those who want more space than a single, but don’t have enough room for a standard double.
- Euro king size (160x200cm). Great for continental bed frames or antique bed bases.
- Emperor size (200x200cm). For true sleep connoisseurs, where space in your bedroom is not an issue.
You can also get an adjustable bed base with dual mechanisms that rise and fall independently. If you’re considering this, depending on the size of your bed frame, you’ll need a:
- Pair of small singles (75x200cm). Equivalent to a king size.
- Pair of long singles (90x200cm). Equivalent to a super king.
Much like finding the right size, there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes
to
mattress support or firmness. A lot of the choice comes down to how you like
to
sleep.

Choosing the right bed frame is just as important as choosing the right
mattress.
TEMPUR® offers a wide choice of bed frames, bases and headboards. All have
been designed to optimise the performance of your TEMPUR®
mattress.
They include:
- Classic divans. Traditional upholstered base with optional headboards and underbed drawer storage.
- Ottomans. Spacious underbed storage, accessed by a gas lift mechanism.
- Adjustable frames. Can be used with one mattress or two twin mattresses, depending on whether you want a single or double handset. The latter is great if you and your partner prefer to sleep in different positions.

Note: We don’t recommend placing your new TEMPUR® mattress on a spring bed base – unless it is under 5 years old and in good condition.
It’s also important that the base supporting your mattress is level and free of dips or hollows which can occur from prior use.
