What can I recycle?
The TEMPUR® Mattress & Bed Recycling Service accepts the following products (excluding Toppers) from any Mainland UK address:**

How to request the TEMPUR® Recycling Service?
To take advantage of the TEMPUR® Recycling Service you must tick the correct box on the checkout page before you continue to submit your delivery details. If you forget to do this, please contact us by email before your delivery date at consumer@tempur.co.uk. Please include your name and order number so we can authorise the service for you.
How much can you recycle?
Items to be recycled are on a like for like basis: a mattress for a mattress, a bed base or frame with or without a headboard for a similar kind of product, or if you have only ordered a headboard, then an old headboard may be collected to be recycled.
How soon will your items be collected?
The recycling service operates via a separate self-booking system. Your confirmation of order email will contain details and a unique one-time-use code so you may claim this service for FREE. Your confirmation of order will also include a clickable link. The link will take you directly to a page on a separate website where you will find a simple booking form. You must complete this so our partners, TFRGroup, know what is going to be recycled. You will be invited to select a date to suit you from those available in your area. Keeping vehicle emissions down is as important as ensuring your old products go into our waste management stream.
8 important things to know and do before we collect your old items
We suggest you book a collection date for your old items after your new items have been delivered, just in case there is an unforeseeable hitch. The recycling service is managed by a separate team based at TFRGroup. Once your collection date has been confirmed, if you have any questions or need to make any changes, please email the collections team at tempur@tfrgroup.co.uk.
Once you have used the link we provided and booked your recycling service, The Furniture Recycling Group (TFRGroup) will do the rest. The booking form you complete will ask you to provide address and contact details. TFRGroup will contact you directly with any updates regarding your recycling service booking. (Please ensure you check your spam box or junk email just in case.) TFRGroup will always be in touch via email, but they may also contact you via SMS, or by phone. TFRGroup, or their carriers, will also send a reminder the day before their team arrives to confirm a 3-hour time slot for the following day. On collection day the drivers will also call you 30-60 minutes before they are due to arrive so you can prepare your items to be taken away.
To help us, please dismantle your old mattress/bed and store them somewhere dry as wet or damp items cannot be recycled. If your old furniture is wet or damp, we are sorry we cannot take it. You will need to make separate new arrangements with another organisation. They may not be able to stop them going to landfill. The drivers are also unable to dismantle items for you.
When the drivers arrive, they will bring recycled bags to wrap your old mattress/bed in for transportation to the processing centre. They will pick them up from your nominated room or storage space.
We understand that plans can change so if you would like to cancel or rearrange your collection date, then that's no problem. We do require 48 hours' notice to cancel a booking and 36 hours' notice to amend a booking.
To cancel or rearrange your date of collection, please email tempur@tfrgroup.co.uk and quote your name and confirmation number plus the date you'd like to change your collection to if you are rescheduling.
The collections team will contact you 30-60 minutes before they are due to arrive at your property to collect your items. If you are unable to answer the phone, that's ok, they will leave a voicemail for you.
If you are not at home and uncontactable when the collections team arrive then our team will report the collection as failed. If you wish to re-arrange another date or time, we are sorry but you will no longer be eligible for our FREE collection service.
