How many TEMPUR^® medium firm pillows should I sleep with?

There’s no strict rule on how many medium-firm pillows you sleep with. Most people opt for one or two, but this all depends on your sleep preferences. At TEMPUR^®, we initially suggest you start with one. It may take your body and posture a few nights to adjust to the ergonomic shape. So, during the first 2-3 weeks, it can help to use your pillow as a cushion during the day. This helps to improve the support and pressure-relieving benefits when you are sleeping.

How do you care for a TEMPUR^® pillow?

All full-sized TEMPUR^® pillows have removable covers that can be washed at up to 40°C or 60°C – depending on the pillow type. Full instructions are on the care label stitched inside. We also recommend purchasing a spare cover, so you can still use your pillow while the other is in the wash.

Our classic rectangular loose-filled pillows – such as the TEMPUR^® Comfort Pillow Cloud – are also easy to maintain. Simply shake, fluff and puff daily, just before you put your head down for maximum comfort.
