How to choose the right adjustable bed base
TEMPUR® adjustable bed bases come in two styles: bed frame or divan bed base. Operated by remote control, both types include an added touch of luxury with massage units as standard to ensure you get a great night's sleep. (In the event of power failure there is a battery back up.) Quality wooden slatted bases provide edge to edge support perfect for TEMPUR® mattresses.
All TEMPUR® adjustable bed bases require mattresses which are 200cm long. If mechanisms are to be operated to rise and fall individually, king and super king sizes will need 2 x 75cm (small single) or 2 x 90cm (long single) mattresses respectively.
Adjustable Bed Frame: Bed frames are all about style. Upholstered in a wide choice of classic and contemporary soft fabrics, this type of bed includes an integral headboard. Design features such as chrome feet or legs complete the look.
Adjustable Divan Bed Base: An upgrade from the classic upholstered divan bed base, these models also offer practical under bed drawer storage options at the foot and side to give you easy access to your spare bed linens.
For king and super king models it is possible to sync both units so the pair of mattresses rise and fall together. This option is ideal for a single sleeper wanting a large bed. If the sleeper decides to permanently sync the dual mechanisms to rise and fall in tandem, a standard king mattress or super king mattress may be used.
Headboards are not included in the prices shown for these adjustable bed bases, they are optional extras, but fittings for a UK strut or floor standing headboard are supplied. You can either match your adjustable divan bed base to a co-ordinating flush fitting headboards for that final finishing touch, or go wild and choose something totally different - the final decision is yours.
