How to choose the right adjustable bed frame
The right adjustable bed frame will depend on your personal preferences. Before you make your decision, there are a few things you may want to consider:
- The size of your space. Our adjustable bed frames range from a long single (90 cm x 200 cm), to a King Size (150 cm x 200 cm), and a roomy Super King (180 cm x 200 cm).
- Your chosen mattresses. King and super king adjustable beds with dual mechanisms can fit two identical mattresses side-by-side. A king requires two small singles, and a super king, two long singles. This allows you and your partner to adjust your position individually if you wish. Keep this in mind when deciding on the size of your bed frame.

What types of adjustable beds are available from Tempur®?
We offer two styles – standard adjustable bed frames and divan bed bases.
Standard adjustable bed frame
Our classic adjustable frame that includes an integral headboard. These frames are upholstered in a range of soft fabrics so you can choose the right bed to complement your room. Design features such as chrome feet or legs complete the look.
Adjustable Divan bed base
An upgrade from the classic divan bed base. These adjustable frames offer handy under-bed drawer storage options at the foot and side. Perfect for those with less space who need an innovative storage solution.
Whatever you choose, all TEMPUR® adjustable bed bases require mattresses that are 200cm long. If you want to operate each side individually, King and Super Kings will need two 75cm x 200cm (small single) or two 90cm x 200cm (long single) mattresses.

What are the benefits of an adjustable bed?

Adjustable Beds FAQs
Are headboards included in the price of TEMPUR® adjustable electric beds?
Headboards are not included in the prices shown for our Suffolk adjustable bed bases. They are optional extras, but fittings for a UK strut or floor-standing headboard are supplied. For our Arc beds, they are not optional, and the price of the headboard is added onto the price of the bed frame. You can either match your adjustable bed base to a coordinating flush-fitting headboard, or choose something different – the decision is yours.
Do adjustable beds come with mattresses?
TEMPUR® adjustable bed frames do not come with mattresses. As with buying any bed frame, you need to buy these separately. Adjustable bases can fit either two identical mattresses if operating each side individually, or one mattress. What you need will depend on the size of frame you choose.
For example, king beds require two 75cm x 200cm (small single), and super king beds require two 90cm x 200cm (long single) mattresses.
