Your frame will also need to be the perfect size for your mattress – not too big or small. That means you’ll need a king size bed for a king size mattresses and so on. • Your style preferences. We offer range of different contemporary fabrics and colours for your divan bed bases, depending on whether you opt for a Suffolk or Buckingham base. There are also multiple king size bed headboard styles to choose from, including Orford, Southwold, Wickham and Woodbridge.
• Your sleep needs. At TEMPUR^®, we also offer adjustable divan bed bases, for those looking for even more comfort. You can choose a single handset frame (which requires one mattress), or a double handset frame (which can also take two single mattresses). The latter is perfect if you and your partner sleep in different positions.

What storage options are available with a divan bed?

Depending on the divan bed base you choose, there are different storage options available. For example:

• 2 continental drawers.1 large and 1 small drawer. For single divan bed bases. Small drawers are useful so you don't have to move your bedside cabinets to get to your underbed storage. They help to maximise storage without taking up more room.
• 4 continental drawers. 2 large and 2 small drawers help maximise your underbed storage. This option is available on double beds and above.

What size divan beds are available?

Our divan bed bases are available as a:

• Single(2 drawers)
• Double(4 drawers)
• King size(4 drawers)
• Super king size(4 drawers)

Finding the right size divan bed base for you will depend on the space you have available. A single bed would work well in a child’s room, for example, while a super king would be great for couples who like to have their own space when sleeping.

Firstly, this depends on the size of your divan bed. You need your mattress to match perfectly with your bed base – for example, a double divan base needs a double mattress. The ‘best’ mattress for a divan will also depend on your sleep needs. You may want to think about a soft, medium, medium-firm or firm mattress, depending on your personal preferences.

Do divan beds come in adjustable designs?

Yes, you can opt to have an adjustable divan bed base. Choose between a single handset base (which uses only one mattress), or a double handset base (which uses two separate mattresses. The latter is a great option if you and your partner prefer to sleep in different positions, as each mattress can be adjusted individually.

Are headboards included with a divan bed?

At TEMPUR^®, headboards are not included with our divan bed frames. You can choose from a range of different headboard styles, fabrics and colours to fully customise your bed, or leave the bed as it comes. Some people prefer the no headboard look - it's entirely up to you.

Can any mattress go on a divan bed base?

In theory, yes, you can put any mattress on a divan bed. Though you should ensure any mattress you put on a divan bed is the right size for the frame.
